We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to help strengthen our Project Delivery team. Zivtech has a flexible, but fast paced work environment, and we are seeking talented individuals who are hungry to contribute and learn. 

The Senior Technical Project Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing client relationships and leading digital solutions project teams from project planning through final delivery. They will need to identify and solve project-related issues that are technical, business, and resource specific.

Responsibilities include participating in discovery sessions, leading project kick-offs, sprint planning, resource allocations, status meetings, risk assessments, QA, documentation management, and project post-mortems. They will work with cross-functional teams to identify and enact continuous improvements to the project delivery process.

Candidates should have the following experience:

  • 5-8 years of interactive/digital project management within a digital or software development organization
  • Leading a cross-functional team of strategists, information architects, designers, and developers
  • A strong understanding of web development technologies, third party applications and platforms
  • Development using Open Source CMS such as Drupal and/or WordPress 
  • Managing offshore development team is a plus
  • Agile delivery 
  • Working collaboratively with a sales team
  • Customer relationship management 
  • Quality control and quality assurance 

Candidates should have the following skills:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Project/program management training and development (PMP certification is a plus)
  • Subject matter expert in digital technologies and software project methodologies
  • Familiarity with Jira, MS Project, GitHub, and other project management applications and development tools
  • Familiarity with time management and team collaboration tools such as Asana, Basecamp, Workzone, Trello, HipChat, Slack, etc.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based document management applications such as Confluence, Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.
  • Bachelor's Degree
