As a Technical Documentation Specialist, you will be working closely with a distributed team of technical professionals to produce exceptionally written documentation on web technologies for both technical and business audiences. You will be required to actively participate in project planning and product development meetings. You may also be asked to provide process best practices and assistance with the product’s user experience.

  • An undergraduate degree, or experience with Drupal or other CMS
  • Technical or business writing experience
  • A demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to effectively translate complex systems into easily comprehensible documentation
  • Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A passion for technology and continual learning
  • Follow-through, initiative, and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to track down all necessary information from any available resource (other team members, existing documentation, pull requests, development environments etc)
  • Flexibility to easily switch context and work on multiple projects at once

  • Software testing experience
  • Experience with git and VMs
  • SDLC/Agile experience
  • Interest in UX
  • Familiarity with PHP/HTML/CSS
