As many of you know, I am helping to organize Drupal's participation for this years Google Summer of Code for this year, and one of my duties is to help recruit mentors and help them connect with students working on some of the awesome community and student project ideas that have been proposed.
Well, by this time next week, all of the proposals on the official Summer of Code site need to be paired with mentors. Over the next 7 days we need mentors to comment and vote on student submissions and help us vet the students as we try to find the best and the brightest students to work with this summer.
So, if you've indicated that you'd like to mentor this year, we need you to join the official Summer of Code site and comment/vote on proposals now!
We're looking both for useful projects and potential superstars (another webchick would be nice, wouldn't you agree?), and we need your help! Because of the move away from private groups on groups.drupal.org I've set up a Google Group for Drupal SoC mentors, so please join if you are planning on mentoring this summer, and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, complaints, comments, etc.
