Settings Audit Log Module is Watching You!

Binoculars

Ever wanted to know what changed in the {variable} table? Who changed it? What the old value was?

Well, this is the module for you. Using a database level trigger and a log of the connection ID of the current request, the new Settings Audit Log module keeps a log of all of this - no more "Doh! When did that setting change?"

Settings Audit Log has your back. Since I committed the first D7-only, Mysql-only code about a week ago, the awesome Drupal community has stepped in to add Postgresql support (thanks Steven) and a D6 port (thanks Katherine), so while still ALPHA, this module is ready for wider testing. What modules can we build on top of this data? How can the underlying module be improved?
