Zivtech worked in conjunction with Acquia to rebuild Novartis' core brand site (Novartis.com). The build was used as a prototype for launching their brand sites. To improve Novartis' internal content pain points, we also created a web service-based system for Novartis to control content across all of their properties from a single hub. This hub brought together content contributors and legal teams around the globe to provide consistent and compliant content to users in their native languages.
Novartis needed a site to reflect their passion for bettering and extending the lives of their patients worldwide. In order to achieve this, we created a portion of the Novartis website dedicated to storytelling. We connected this portion of the website to the hero on the homepage as well as other high traffic areas of their sites to create a point of emphasis.
In order for their sites to be more user friendly for content editors as well as consumers, Zivtech restructured the information architecture (IA) and implemented the new IA and design in Drupal. To address their complex global content workflow and legal review process, we also created a custom content hub across their global sites. Using the content hub built by our engineers, Novartis was able to share, review, and import content with multiple language translations while keeping the content localized and compliant.
