Join Us in the #DrupalCares Initiative to Sustain the Drupal Association

Times like now require us to come together. The #DrupalCares initiative aims to sustain the Drupal Association in the face of fallout due to the Coronavirus. The Association is an educational non-profit organization that supports the Drupal software project through Drupal.org, DrupalCon, and other community-based efforts.

With one of the Association’s mainstay events, DrupalCon Minneapolis, unable to safely take place in May as scheduled, the Association faces a significant financial shortfall. Drupal founder Dries Buytaert already announced a dollar-for-dollar match up to $100,000, and yesterday a group of organizations followed suit, including Zivtech.

With the new organizational match gift in place, any contribution to the association effectively triples. The new organizational match gift applies to all individual contributions, donations or memberships from the outset of the campaign, but there is still progress to be made.

Whether you’re a Zivtech client, a friend, a member of the Drupal community or otherwise, we want you to consider chipping in, as just one dollar can become three. The Drupal Association has supported our work and the platform that fuels it for over a decade. It fosters the exchange of ideas, continued education, and works to further the principles of open source that we and Drupal believe in.
